Brandon, MS--At the Hinds Invitational at Castlewoods Golf Club in Brandon, MS, the East Central Men's Golf Team earned a strong second-place finish, ending with a total score of +30, trailing only Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Leading the charge was Paul Swanepoel, who finished 2nd overall with an impressive score of -2 (70). Hayes Nance also posted a top-10 finish, placing 9th with a score of +6 (77).

The rest of the East Central team had solid contributions:
- Will Thompson finished tied for 16th, scoring +8 (72).
- Ashley Head placed 24th with a score of +11 (76).
- Jamie Stace followed closely, finishing 28th with a total of +12 (78).
- Braxton Cornish wrapped up the team's effort in 44th place, posting +19 (80).

With these performances, East Central continues to demonstrate its depth and resilience, setting the tone for future success in the season.
