DECATUR, Miss. — East Central Community College split a doubleheader with Northeast Mississippi Community College on Saturday at The Mound, falling in Game 1 before bouncing back with an 11-7 win in Game 2.
After being shut out in the opener, East Central responded with an explosive offensive performance in the second game, highlighted by a five-run second inning and multiple extra-base hits.
Game 1
Northeast took control early and never let up, scoring in every inning of a five-inning run-rule victory.
