Caroline Easom joined the East Central Community College Lady Warriors softball program as assistant coach in 2025 following a decorated playing career at Louisiana Tech University.

A native of Bossier City, Louisiana, Easom was a four-year starter at second base for the Lady Techsters, appearing in more than 200 career games. Known for her leadership, defensive consistency, and academic excellence, she helped lead LA Tech to the 2022 Conference USA Championship while starting all 59 games that season. She finished her career tied for the program record in career double plays fielded and consistently ranked among the NCAA’s toughest hitters to strike out.

Her senior campaign in 2024 was her strongest statistically, as she posted a .280 batting average with 46 hits, nine doubles, 26 RBI, and 55 total bases. She recorded a team-best seven multi-RBI games, ranked second on the roster with 11 multi-hit performances, and earned NFCA Top Performer honors after a hot start to the season. Defensively, she registered a .963 fielding percentage with 95 putouts and 85 assists.

In addition to her on-field success, Easom excelled academically, earning both her bachelor’s (2024) and master’s (2025) degrees in accounting from Louisiana Tech. She was a four-time member of the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll, a 2021 CUSA Academic Medalist, a two-time NFCA Scholar-Athlete, and recipient of Louisiana Tech’s prestigious “Tenets of Tech” Award in 2024.

Before her collegiate career, Easom starred at Airline High School under coaches Brittany Gregg and Reggie Digilormo. She was a four-time All-District, All-Parish, and All-City selection, earned All-State Honorable Mention honors, and helped lead Airline to the Class 5A state semifinals as a junior. She was also named to the LHSAA Composite All-Academic Team and selected for the LHSCA West All-Star Team as a senior.
