Decatur, MS--- The East Central Community College Lady Warrior soccer team is ready to kick off their 2024-25 season. Head Coach Patrick Ross is entering his second season at the helm. The Lady Warriors are coming off a season where they went 4-8-3. The 2023-2024 East Central Community College Lady Warriors were the NJCAA Academic Women's soccer team of the year a great accomplishment of the hard work put in the classroom.
"Building a championship culture takes time, but we're laying the foundation daily," said Patrick Ross. "We focus on hard work, discipline, and belief in each other. With that, we'll transform this program into a playoff contender that East Central Community College can be proud of."
The Lady Warriors welcomed talented freshmen Jaci Willis, Emma Salvador, Hollie Burke, Kassidy Pulliam, Lilli Cumberland, Ella Adams, Alejandra Lopez, and Odalis De Leon.
Ross will be joined by first-year assistant coach Thomas Blake this season, and the Lady Warriors kick off the 2024 campaign on Tuesday, August 13, with a road trip to Hinds Community College. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
