Decatur,MS-East Central Community College sophomore Saige Kirkbride has been named to the Second Team All-MACCC for the 2024 women's soccer season. The Ocean Springs, Mississippi native and Marsh Academy alum shined as a defender, anchoring the Warriors' backline throughout the season.

Starting in all 11 games she played, Kirkbride not only showcased her defensive prowess but also contributed offensively, scoring a goal during conference play. Her consistency and leadership on the field were vital in helping the Warriors remain competitive in a tough conference schedule.

Head women's soccer coach Patrick Ross praised Kirkbride's performance, saying, "We are very proud of Saige for her accomplishment. She is always looking for a way to get stuck in on a tackle and always winning most balls in the air. She is getting attention from many schools now and we are excited to see where she plays next."

Kirkbride's honor reflects her hard work and dedication to the program, as well as her ability to lead by example. The Warriors' coaching staff and teammates celebrated this well-earned recognition, commending her for her impact both on and off the pitch.
