ELLISVILLE, Miss. — East Central battled throughout but came up short in straight sets against Jones College (22–25, 10–25, 19–25) on Monday night inside A.B. Howard Gymnasium.

Cecilia Hikari-Hosak led the Lady Warriors with 14 kills and 13 digs, while Ainslee Copeland added five kills and eight digs. Setter Anna Wojtczak paced the offense with 22 assists and contributed 10 digs. Defensively, Addison Vaughn recorded four block assists to anchor the front line.

Despite the loss, East Central showed grit in extended rallies and strong back-row defense, holding Jones to a .245 hitting percentage and tallying 56 digs as a team.
