PERKINSTON, Miss. — East Central battled early but couldn't slow down Mississippi Gulf Coast in a 101–68 road loss Monday night. The Warriors scored 40 in the first half and trailed by just 11 at the break before MGCCC used a second-half surge and a big rebounding advantage to pull away.
Chris Moliere led ECCC with 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting. Tarrell Doby added 14 points and six assists, while Jaylen Torgusson posted 11 points and six rebounds. Will Brunini grabbed nine boards off the bench to round out the Warriors' top performers.
